What's Learning?

"Learning is the activity or process of gaining knowledge or skill by studying, practicing, being taught, or experience something."

Our brain remains active while we are awake, sleeping, focused or daydream. Our brain can work on a situation, question or problem even while we are sleeping or not aware of anything. That's why our brain uses two different sorts of networks: the focused thinking and the diffuse thinking.

When we are solving problems in a rational, a sequential and an analytic way, that is the so-called, focused mode. However, when we relax our attention or we let our mind run free, then our brain is in the diffuse mode. Both modes don't work at the same time, but our mind needs to go back and forth between the two thinking modes. Focus and relax is essential to learn something new with "no pain," with no stress.

No doubt, learning upgrades our brain. The following posts will show you how to develop a learning process, to hold your focus and embed the material more deeply and powerfully in your mind. For that, we'll use a special and useful acronym.

So, let's have a quick look to the acronym STAR



Situation – identify relevant issues or problems. 
Task – plan strategies.
Action – take new actions. Step out of your comfort zone.
Result – achieve your project, successfully.
